Peter Reed

Peter started working with Slung Low in 2012 as Associate Producer. To date, he has worked on Converging Paths and The Knowledge Emporium.

Based in Leeds at Slung Low’s Holbeck Underground Ballroom, Peter produces for a range of independent artists and festivals, planning and delivering projects in live art and site-based performance work.

Peter is currently Associate Producer for Slung Low and Compass Live Art. He is also working as a Producer for Kings of England (Monument to Charlie Chaplin), Louise Ann Wilson Company (Ghost Bird) and Ellie Harrison’s sequence of seven projects, The Grief Series. (Etiquette of Grief, The Reservation, What is Left?).

Peter graduated in 2011 from the Central School of Speech and Drama, London, where he studies for a BA in Theatre Practice, Performance Arts.

Whilst in London, Peter produced two exhibitions for Malaysian-born artist Jemima Yong. These were Safe Keeping (Bowery Gallery) and Primary 1 (M1 Singapore Fringe Festival). He was also Assistant Producer for Scenofest and The Prague Quadrennial 2011.

Peter runs all his producing and project management work through The Performing Office Ltd.
